Even in the match against Christina, she had to fight hard for 2 hours and 50 minutes to reserve the semi final spot.In the semifinal, Bartoli will face Chan Yung-Jan. Chan is an unknown Taiwanese player who has pulled off a great upset by defeating Jelena Jankovic. Jankovic was the no. 1 player in the world a few years back and had been given the third seed in this tournament. After pulling off such a great upset, Chan would be pretty confident in the semifinal and Bartoli would have to be careful against her.
